Labradorite is a magical stone displaying iridescent schiller and rainbow-colored reflections known as labradorescence. Found in several parts of the world, it gets its name from the initial discovery in Labrador, Canada. Our material comes from Madagascar, where we consider the finest labradorite on the planet is found. It has an amazing display of multi-color brilliance both indoors and out, and will sometimes change colors when displayed depending on the light source. Labradorite is thought to be a symbol for the sun and moon because of its brilliant flash. In metaphysics it's believed to promote strength and perseverance.
